You should be able to do that, provided that both scenes are in the same project.

Open your new scene (where you want to import the object TO). Then right-click the file name for the scene that you want to import the objects FROM, select Import Objects. Choose what you want to import, then click OK.

Let me know if that doesn't work.

Sorry my mistake, you can it is just the abstraction you use is not intuitive. I think it should read, export to current loaded scene. My mistake I did not follow your abstraction.
